3 - Post and tell. Once you've taken your picture, email is by September 26th to: artdirector@tpan.com. In your email, be sure to write a caption, giving your name, location, and time of day you took the picture. You might even want to explain more about what inspired you to take it. Feel free to go online and tell your friends that you're taken part in A Day with HIv in Americ. You can also give us a shout by clicking the links below.

What makes a good picture? Use these tips to tell your story. Lighting, try to keep any bright lights in front of your subject; avoid the sun in your camera. Composition: putting your subject into a third of the frame can make a simple layout look more interesting. Context: show us what's going on around you. Help us understand your day.
